The location of the hotel was very central, short walk to many restaurants and also the tourist info centre, the train station and the tourist office and the centre of Windermere, close to bars, shops and restaurants. Also, the place was within walking distance of St Mary's Church. Had a full English breakfast in the lounge area.

Stayed here for 4 nights and did not want to leave. Good and fab location close to everything in Windermere Orrest was a plus. Had brunch in the The Pig, located nearby. Had the double room and it was good-sized with a great bathroom.

The hotel was fairly clean and ideal, had lovely views of the lake. The room was reasonably large with good size bathroom and a lounge, coffee, and a TV. This accommodation was in the very central location to everything around there. And it was also very close to Windermere town centre, and a hill round the corner. The food in the lounge area was yummy and fresh. The service was excellent.
